Abbey and Andrew were late in their booking, the phrase goes ‘Saving the best for last’ and that may very well be the case. I’m really looking forward to their outdoor wedding, i can’t wait to see how the photographs turn out. Andrew and Abbey were a blast to work with. They were energetic, and i think i broke a personal record for the amount of time we took. Diane and Jeff were difficult to schedule because they both had to be available and fly out from Minneapolis. But once we got them here, things went off without a hitch. Very fun couple, lovingly, and ready to work! Of course when I found out Jeff was a commercial pilot, we talked about military and civilian aircraft (a side hobby of mine besides a being Boston Engagement Photographer) for the entire session. I met Sarah and Jim late afternoon on a breezy April weekday. Short hair and breezy days means lots of waiting for the right moments. Luckily, as Boston Indian Engagement Photographers we have fantastic clients with plenty of patience. Sarah and Jeff are atypical as clients of ours in the fact that both of their families are from the Kerala region. Our first clients from that area. Every once in a while you have to throw your expectations and preconceived notions right out the window. After returning from Jaipur we were contacted about setting up a shoot in Delhi. After making some calls, we had a model, an amazing dress manufacturer and a location set. Everyone who has experience in all things India knows that you need a plan B and oftentimes even a plan C. So i made sure to have plan D, to ensure things went off without a hitch. We blew through plan A and B in the first 15 minutes. Doing this for many years, we’ve photographed many amazing couples in love… …But never have I witnessed a couple that adored each other so much. It was almost reminiscent of the ‘Shmoopy’ episode on Seinfeld, where at first it was cute, then you wanted to kill them. Except, with this couple, you realized it was real and it wasn’t an act. Sayjal and Santosh. What a pair… Sayjal as a client is like a photographer winning the lottery… she’s that rare client that comes around maybe once or twice a year that not only says she wants a unique session, but is willing to actually put the work in to make it a unique session. What we have here is a spectacular Falmouth Cape Cod Wedding. Hilary and Justin were as funny as they come. From Hilary fake-kissing her girls to Justin putting his glass on top of the wedding cake, I haven’t laughed so hard in quite some time. We did their engagement session earlier this year on one of the coldest days of the year.
