At Symbol Photography, you always get two photographers - Brendan and Brendan only photographs with Thuy.

Because you shouldn't have to pay for something you won't need or use. The starting price of a typical Boston wedding photographer's "All Day Coverage" is what we charge to photograph your complete wedding, with your album included. Also, if you read the fine print, you'll see that "All Day Wedding Coverage" is usually defined as "one hour before getting ready and one hour after dancing."

For starters, our "his and her" photography team. With both a male and a female photographer on the scene, we're able to cover your event through the eyes of the bride and the groom. And, we want to make sure you're clear on the fact that we're both PRIMARY photographers - not one photographer and one assistant. You get two photographers capturing your event from two unique perspectives.

Just as important is how we process your photos. Unlike other Boston wedding photography services, we process each and every photo individually, no batching.

We include a 'Printable DVD' with every engagement and wedding photography package we offer. This DVD contains the high-resolution files you need for reprints. You can also attach the files to emails or put them on Facebook!

It depends on the package ordered. The more time we spend photographing your wedding, the more photos we shoot. And the more photos we have, the longer they take to process. Regardless, we always guarantee a turnaround time of between 4 to 8 weeks.

Travel is included when the destination is within a two-hour radius of Boston & New York City. That covers most of the Greater New England area, Newport, and New York City. For destinations further abroad or outside the United States, contact us for a customized quote.

Yes! We have professional indemnity and public liability insurance. And, of course, our equipment is insured.

We use only the highest quality of wedding album suppliers. Each of our suppliers offers a lifetime guarantee on their products.

Brendan and Thuy all shoot with Canon 5DMKII or 5DMKIII's and our newly acquired Hasselblad H3D11-31. We use the latest and greatest professional line of equipment from Canon. We also use a host of professional lighting equipment in our studio in Boston.

The prices included in our engagement and wedding photography packages are all-inclusive, including tax. The same is true of any customized quotes we provide you. There are no hidden extras. We are honest and upfront in everything we do.

While it's never happened, Symbol Photography has a network of talented wedding photographers we can call on, if need be. We are also a licensed and qualified member of the Professional Photographers Association of America, which we can turn to for assistance if necessary.

Designing a wedding album can be difficult when you've never done it before. To makes things easier for you, we'll give you a mock album layout. This is a great start, as it will help you to visualize the possibilities, give you a starting point, and make it easier for you to move images around.

Absolutely! When we meet in at our initial consultation, we'll go over all of the details of your special day, including the poses, styling, and every other expectation that goes along with an event of this magnitude.

We use only the best, USA-made albums in the industry. The lead times are anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

Yes. In fact, most of our wedding photography packages include them! We love engagement sessions. They're fun, casual, and exciting. They're also a great opportunity to get to know you, and for you to get to know us!

Yes. We provide a range of post-wedding accessories including canvas prints, framed enlargements, and parent books. There is no pressure. Prices are available on request.

Nothing that we will not go over in our consultation. Symbol Photography is very easy to work with. We work on a no-pressure model. We don't try to sell you anything you didn't come to us for in the first place. We have all sorts of products available. And we will make them available to you, but we do not 'up sell' you on any products you don't inquire about of your own volition.
